Products, team, and settings
Kinn organizes your work in two levels:
- An account contains your team, billing, and shared credentials.
- A product contains its own description, integrations, conversations, and feedback.
If your company has several apps or games, create a separate product for each one. This prevents feedback and notes from one product appearing in another.
Switch or update a product
Use the product menu in the app to move between products. In Settings, the section named after the selected product lets you:
- Change its name, description, or image under General
- View, add, configure, or disconnect its sources under Integrations
A clear product description helps Kinn understand names, audiences, and context that may not be obvious from feedback alone.
Admins can add another product from Settings → Billing → Add Product. Each product has its own subscription and usage allowance.
Understand team roles
Kinn has three roles:
| Role | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Ask questions and read connected product data |
| Editor | Viewer access, plus connecting sources, saving notes, and making requested changes in tools such as Jira |
| Admin | Editor access, plus account details, team roles, invitations, products, and billing |
An Admin can open Settings → Team to invite someone, change a member's role, remove a member, or revoke a pending invitation.
Give people the lowest role they need. Viewer is a good default for someone who only needs to explore findings or ask questions.
Account credentials
Open Settings → Credentials for connections that apply across the account, including Discord, Slack, GitHub, Jira, and optional App Store or Google Play credentials.
Connecting a credential does not necessarily connect every source to every product. For Discord, Slack, and GitHub, return to the product's Integrations settings and select the channels or repositories that belong to that product.
Personal settings
Under User, you can update your own name, email, profile image, and password. These changes affect only your login and profile—not other team members or product data.
Billing and usage
Admins can open Settings → Billing to:
- See each product's plan and current usage
- Add a product
- Open the secure Stripe billing portal
The product menu also shows a quick view of the selected product's current usage.
