What Kinn Can Do
Most of your time in Kinn is spent asking questions and reading the answers. But the agent can do more than answer — it can visualize, export, remember, discover, read your files, and change your setup, all from the same chat box. This page is a map of those capabilities; each one has a dedicated page under Capabilities with the details and tips.
You don't need to memorize any special syntax. Everything here is triggered by asking for it in plain language — "chart that," "turn this into a PDF," "remember that we shipped 2.1 on Monday." The pages linked below tell you what's possible and how to phrase the ask so you get the best result.
What the agent can do
- Charts & visualizations — turn a result into a line, bar, pie, heatmap, or one of a dozen other chart types, in chat or inside a report.
- Reports & exports — generate a branded, downloadable PDF you can share with your team or stakeholders.
- Notes & memory — have Kinn durably remember facts about your product (launch dates, recurring bugs, decisions) so they inform later answers.
- Discovering new content — find conversations about your product on YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit that you haven't connected yet.
- Analyzing your files — attach a CSV, spreadsheet, or text file and have Kinn read it alongside your community feedback.
- Managing sources from chat — connect feedback sources and update your product info by pasting URLs into the conversation.
Kinn can also create and triage issues in your tracker — see Bug detection & triage and the Jira integration.
Reading vs. making changes
Some capabilities only read and analyze your data; others change your setup or write to a connected tool. Anyone on your team can ask questions, pull metrics, build charts, analyze files, and generate reports. Actions that change things — connecting a new source, saving or deleting a note, creating or updating a Jira issue — require edit access.
If you ask for an action you don't have permission for, Kinn will tell you rather than doing it silently.
Suggested prompts
When you open a product, Kinn proposes a few starter prompts tailored to what's actually happening in your connected feedback — a sentiment shift, a volume spike, a recurring theme. They're a fast way to find a thread worth pulling on when you're not sure where to start. If you ever feel stuck, the best move is still to ask the agent directly what it can help with.
