Connecting Google Play lets Kinn read the reviews for an Android app — the counterpart to the App Store integration, and useful when a mobile game or app is part of your product. Like the App Store, it's a concentrated source of rating-driven feedback.

This integration pulls in reviews only.

What it pulls in​

  • Reviews — the star rating and the review text for the app you track

It doesn't pull anything beyond reviews.

Public and authorized access​

The store URL gives Kinn access to publicly visible reviews. If you own the app, you can optionally authorize Google Play Console under Settings → Credentials → Google Play to include review details that are not publicly visible, such as private developer replies and additional metadata.

How to connect​

  1. From your dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → Add Integration → Google Play.
  2. Paste the app's full Google Play Store URL.
  3. Wait for the initial sync to finish. Once synced, you can run your first query.

Kinn reads review data only and makes no changes to your Google Play listing or developer account.

Access​

Public listing connections need no Google account and are read-only. Optional Play Console authorization is used to retrieve review data only. Kinn cannot edit the listing, publish a release, or respond to reviews.
