Connecting Instagram lets Kinn follow a public profile's post history, or track specific posts and Reels. Either way it pulls in both how the content is performing and what viewers are saying, which is useful for creator campaigns, launch announcements, and other public content you want to monitor.

What it pulls in​

You can track at two levels of granularity, and mix them freely:

  • Profiles — connect an account to follow its whole public post history.
  • Individual posts and Reels — index specific URLs when you only care about a few.

For each one you track, Kinn pulls both sides of the picture:

  • Performance metrics — views, likes, comments, shares, and other engagement signals
  • Comments — the comment threads on the tracked posts and Reels

Kinn reads only public content here. There's no account to connect or authorize — you simply give Kinn the profile, post, or Reel links you want it to follow.

How to connect​

  1. From your dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations → Add Integration → Instagram.
  2. Paste the URL of the public profile, post, or Reel you want to track.
  3. Wait for the initial sync to finish. Once it shows as synced, you can run your first query.

A profile URL such as https://instagram.com/example follows that account's post history. A post or Reel URL adds only that item.

tip

For measuring a sponsorship campaign, tracking the specific URLs of the sponsored posts gives you the cleanest campaign comparison.

Access​

Kinn only reads public profiles, posts, Reels, comments, and engagement. It cannot publish, like, comment, send messages, or make changes to an Instagram account.

What you can now ask and do​

Once Instagram is connected and synced, try:

  • Summarize what this creator posts about and how their audience responds.
  • How are the creators promoting us performing this month?
  • Which sponsored Reel got the most engagement?
  • Compare views and likes across our paid creators.
  • What are people saying in the comments on this creator's post?
