Understand feedback and conversations in the workspace channels you select.

- Read-only
Slack connects team, community, or customer conversations to Kinn. After an administrator installs the Kinn app, you choose which channels belong to each product.
Kinn reads messages from selected channels only and does not post or reply in Slack.
What it pulls in
Kinn indexes messages and reactions from the channels you select. It does not read unselected channels or direct messages.
Public channels are available after installation. For a private channel, a member of that channel must first invite Kinn.
How to connect
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Add Integration → Slack.
- Select Add to Slack and approve the Kinn app for your workspace.
- To include a private channel, open that channel in Slack and enter
/invite @Kinn. - Return to Kinn and select Configure Channels.
- Check the channels you want connected to this product and save your choices.
Start with the few channels where customer feedback is most likely to appear. You can return to the Slack integration later to add or remove channels.
Permissions
Kinn needs permission to view basic workspace and channel details, messages, and reactions needed for analysis. Installing it does not automatically put every channel in scope: your channel selection in Kinn controls what is indexed.
